2025 Japanese Language & Culture Summer Program【Apr 15,2025up】
The Hiroshima International Center will be hosting a Japanese Language and Culture Summer Program, targeting students aged 12 to 15 who are enrolled in international schools or local schools outside of Japan. This program aims to foster deeper connections and broaden perspectives among youths who share a common background—living within a multilingual and multicultural environment while embracing Japanese culture and language. Through sharing their thoughts and ideas, participants strengthen their relationships and understanding.
The program is designed and managed by our Japanese language instructors, providing support tailored to the participants’ Japanese proficiency levels. Through various Japanese cultural experiences and interactions with people of diverse age groups, this program aims to offer participants the opportunity to enhance their interest in and understanding of Japan, together with their peers. Accommodation for family members is also available.
Program Duration: July 7, 2025 – July 12, 2025
Location: 3-3-1 Kagamiyama, Higashihiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture

Eligibility:
・Students aged 12 to 15 enrolled in international schools or local schools
・Either one or both parents hold Japanese citizenship
・Students with Japanese language proficiency above beginner level
Participation Fee: 88,000 yen (includes accommodation, meals, Japanese classes, transportation during visits, and admission fees)

We will be holding two online program information sessions on Sunday, May 17 (Japan Standard Time), from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. During these sessions, the program coordinator will directly provide an overview of the program. If you are interested in the program, please feel free to participate.
To join the session, please fill out the required information in the form available at the link below. Please note that the content of the morning and afternoon sessions will be the same, and the sessions will be conducted in Japanese.
